3 Super Foods to Eat Now!

Our skin is a reflection of our health and well-being from within. Nutrition is extremely important in how ‘flawless’ our skin can and will be. Often times, there is a particular food that is placed in the spotlight as ‘THE’ answer to all of our skincare prayers. The truth is there are many foods that can be our Savior. So, where do we start? What do we eat? We want to have flawless skin now and not later, right?


Here are three Super Foods that we should start eating now! Let’s dig in.


1. Avocado


Avocado is nutritionally rich in Vitamins A, D, E, potassium, lecithin, and beta-carotene. It also has the fatty acids – palmitic, palmitoleic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic. The high content of sterolins is known for helping to reduce age spots and scars.


Avocado has a superior moisturizing effect and is effective in assisting with the rejuvenation and regeneration of skin cells.

2. Wild Salmon


Wild salmon is super rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamins B3, B6, B12, D, phosphorous, magnesium, and selenium. Salmon helps our skin by reducing the damage from free radicals that are caused by stress, lifestyle, and aging.


 
3. Olive Oil


Olive oil is high in antioxidants and Vitamin E. This oil is great for helping our bodies fight free radicals which accelerate aging. The great thing about olive oil is that we can use it to protect our bodies on the inside and outside. We can eat and apply it directly to our skin. It is recommended that we use the ‘extra virgin’ olive oil only as it in one of its purest states.

So, let’s find a way to incorporate these three super foods into our daily meals. For me, I will start with eating guacamole more often which is not a problem because I love it! Also, I will experiment with different recipes and have at least one meal during the week with wild salmon. For the olive oil, I will replace all other oils used with this goodness.

Great makeup brushes are essential to a flawless makeup application. Brushes are designed with a specialized purpose for specific cosmetic products to blend well with specific face features. a) Makeup Brushes

b) Brush Cleaner

c) Paper Towels

d) 70% + Alcohol

2. Instructions

a) Spray brush cleaner onto paper towel.

b) Using figure 8 motions, wipe the brush head until there is no more makeup residue on paper towel.

c) Lay brushes flat to dry.

d) Spray brushes with alcohol when dry.



3. Tips

a. Clean brushes every 2 weeks or more often if you wear different makeup colors often.

b. Use gentle pressure when cleaning brushes.

c. Allow brushes to dry overnight if possible.
